Love & Hunger's debut album, The Things We Carry, explores themes of guilt, regret, and the path to forgiveness. Lead singer, Chance Cochran, cradles the dichotomy of empathy and selfishness with brutal lyricism. Musical accompaniment lends a melancholic tone; yet at times cradles the threshold of welcomed turbulence, the perfect complement to Cochran's vocals.
